Overview: In this presentation we will review the various challenges that supply chains face in todays enterprise community. More importantly, we will discuss the blockchain hype in supply chain and identify the difficulties that blockchain has had in gaining mass adoption. Additionally, we will introduce Envision Blockchains participation and experience in the open source Baseline Protocol which aims to overcome enterprise supply chains challenges via the public Ethereum Mainnet. Lastly, we will provide a demo of a supply chain use case that leverages the Baseline Protocol’s open source libraries which will offer attendees a visual understanding as to how the library can be used with current day systems while maintaining privacy and security.

With over 8 years of experience serving clients in the emerging tech industry and the financial services industry, Kartheek is positioned as an experienced data architect with specialties in enterprise data architecture, distributed infrastructure (blockchain technology), data quality and governance, regulatory risk and business intelligence solutions
Prior to joining EY, Kartheek had worked extensively on planning and implementing master data management platforms & solutions at leading US based technology companies. In addition, Kartheek comes with a strong research aptitude owing to background in theoretical physics and computing, particularly in areas of topology, quantum mechanics & information processing. He has authored several research papers in the field of applied mathematics and physics on arXiv and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
